LIGHTGAGE STEEL JOIST

Lightgage steel joist is a metal frame for construction made of high-quality continuous hot-dip galvanized sheet and rolled by a cold bending process. It is used for the decoration of non-load-bearing walls and roofs of buildings with light panels such as paper-faced gypsum board and decorative gypsum board as finishing materials. It is suitable for the decoration of roofs of various buildings, the basic materials of internal and external walls of buildings, and scaffolding ceilings. Lightgage steel joists are classified into ceiling joists and partition joists according to their uses, and V-shaped, C-shaped, T-shaped, L-shaped, and U-shaped joists according to their cross-sectional forms.The marking order of light steel joists is: product name, code, width of cross-sectional shape, height, steel plate thickness, and standard number. For example, a ceiling joist with a cross-sectional shape of "C", a width of 50mm, a height of 15mm, and a steel plate thickness of 1.5mm is marked as a light steel joist for construction DC50×15×1.5GB11981.Appearance quality The appearance of the light steel joist should be flat, with clear edges and corners, and the cut should not have burrs and deformation that affect the use. The galvanized layer is not allowed to have defects such as peeling, tumors, and shedding.

For defects such as corrosion, damage, black spots, and pitting, the detection method should comply with the provisions of Table 2-81. When inspecting the appearance quality, visual inspection should be carried out under bright light conditions at a distance of 0.5m from the product.
